Suraj Hi-Tech Pvt. Ltd., was formed by well experienced marketing professionals with the objective to provide high quality Medical products to Medical professionals.
It was promoted by the following persons who have considerable experience.
S. Sambandan, J. Sukumar,
B. Jayakumar and V. Kumar
It was incorporated in January 1991. In the beginning the company started with marketing and manufacturing indigenously made Ophthalmology products. Later, in 1994, more products including imported were added to the list.
- In 1995, Topcon, Japan equipments under arrangement with
Mehra Eyetech Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai for South India.
- In 1997,
Suraj also entered into an agreement with
Ocular Instruments Inc, USA to sell their Diagnostic, Surgical and Laser Delivery Lenses in India.
- In 1999
Suraj started promoting Hanshin, Korea manufacturers of High Speed Steam and E.O. Sterilizers and Wave Light, Germany leading manufacturers of
Allegretto Excimer Lasik Laser System, in agreement with M/s.
My Healthskape, Mumbai.
- Suraj started marketing
Sonomed Inc., USA ophthalmic ultrasound scanners, in agreement with
M/s. Solar Opto Medic Pvt. Ltd., Rajkot.
- In 2005,
Suraj added Icon Medicare manufacturers of Indigenous Phaco and Vitrectomy equipment to their activity.
- Opto Global Pty. Ltd, Australia – Triple T Laser Diode Laser, Blue on Yellow Perimeter, Surgical Microscope, AngioCam, Smart Chart, Yag Laser etc.,
- Geuder AG, Germany – Cool Phaco Machine, Posterior Vitrectomy and Accessories for complete Phaco and Vitrectomy surgeries.
- Excel Optics, Chennai
– Manufacturers of Multi Piece, Single Piece, Square Edge and Foldable IOLs.
Suraj
has its own Sales Team covering South India i.e., five States namely -
Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka and
Pondicherry.
Suraj
Service Engineers are well trained to handle new agency products. This also facilitates servicing of equipments as quickly as possible.
For effective promotion
Suraj
started a branch office at
Cochin, Kerala State since February 2004. Future plans to start branch offices at
Bangalore and Hyderabad
with a view to strengthen our base and interest.
Our marketing network reaches out to all corners of
South India. We excel in quick supplies, installations and providing services. Our major strength is understanding our customer's requirement which is made possible by the continuous visit of our sales team well supported by Director's periodical visits. This closely knit marketing pattern has made
Suraj a force to reckon with by the leading companies.
Suraj
also participates in all the major Meetings/Conferences/ Workshops conducted in their region. On some occasions it had also sponsored some scientific sessions. This participation helps to interact with the customer to know the requirement and also required services.
Customer Service
Suraj gives top priority to this division, as it believes the satisfied customers will bring in more business.
Suraj
has its own service technicians, service engineers to attend to the complaints of the customers. We follow two patterns.
1. Free service during Warranty period
2. After Warranty period, service is rendered in two ways
- Annual Maintenance Contract service.
- Adhoc service.
In service division too, it works in mutual co-operation with
